So you think your tough... until you try to brand, give injections, de-horn, and muscle a calf or cow. Bulls and heifers( the girls) are a lot harder to work with than you'd think! Check this picture out enlarged, Cosi's face says it all. As Cosi is demonstrating, you have to press hard because their hide is extremely thick. It reminds me of Moreno Robins Priest Quorum Activities. He'd take us down to the lake and have us dehorn, brand and round up the cows. I'll never forget when a pile of steaming poop landed on my foot. It was so cold when we were doing it, it actually felt good...like a pair of warm bowling shoes on a cold bowling night.
